FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: When are you going to open?

A: We are planning a soft opening this summer. Stop by if you are curious - we'll be around...

Q: Do you rent out private offices?

A: No. Passenger Pigeons are extremely social animals. The floor plan is open. Roosting spots are first-come, first-served, in which case, the early bird gets the worm.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: No. Passenger Pigeon meat is too tempting for such creatures.

Q: Do you have a conference room?

A: Yes. You can rent it out if you are a member.

Q: What does Passenger Pigeon X mean?

A: It has two meanings. 1. The last known Passenger Pigeon, Martha, died in 1914 - hence, x-tinct. 2. Approximately a century later, a hybrid Passenger Pigeon, PPX, was genetically enhanced and subsequently reanimated by a French-American team of entrepreneurs, in 2016 - hence, x-treme (note: x is also a necessary component of any reputable technology company).

Q: You say this is an English-speaking coworking space. So, do I have to speak English?

A: Yes and no. English is the primary language of the technology world, so you should have some basic familiarity. How this would work is that we will communicate in English, although you are free to speak in whatever language you prefer. Note: the best way to communicate is to flap your wings really fast.

Q: Can I leave my stuff overnight?

A: Full-time members will be able to reserve dedicated nests w/ lockers.

Q: Do I have to sign a lease?

A: No. We detest bureaucracy. All plans are month-to-month.

Q: Can I get my mail sent here?

A: Yes, but only for full-time members.

Q: Do I need to be a member for your branding + design services?

A: No, this is a separate service, which we also offer to those in the Philadelphia area.

Q: I am a lawyer. Can I get a membership?

A: Passenger Pigeons love to swarm. All professions are welcome. Please note, however, that this is a digital coworking space, not a co-op for sculptors and painters. Studio artists who need messy work space would be better off at the MEKANO, which is right around the corner.

Q: Can I work out at the Pigeonaire?

A: One of the co-founders loves to lift weights. We may offer informal fitness classes in the mornings or evenings. Just make sure you wear an anti-perspirant deodorant w/ aluminum.

Q: Can I smoke?

A: Outside.

Q: Do I need to be a member to participate in any of your events?

A: Yes. This is a private social club for digital entrepreneurs. If you would like to attend only events, then we recommend our community membership plan.

Q: Can I eat smelly food?

A: If it smells like dirty feet, then no.

Q: I talk a lot over the phone. Is that ok?

A: Only in the conference room or in one of our phone booths. We will also have social areas outside the building.
